Corneal transplant also known as corneal grafting, is a surgical procedure where a damaged or diseased cornea is replaced by donated corneal tissue. Some causes for a corneal transplant are: refractive surgery (LASIK and RK), corneal conditions such as keratoconus and Fuchs Dystrophy, injury and corneal scarring.
